PS Consulting Surveyors cc is a young vibrant Land Surveying firm based in Windhoek and specializing in engineering survey, control, and monitoring survey, topographic Surveys as well as GIS, digital modeling and mapping.

The Firm went into full operation in 2014 after three years of part time operation. The firm is founded by a Qualified Surveyor with a wealth of experience. The owner has over 8 years of combined experience working in the civil engineering construction, consulting and survey industry. The firm boasts an array of state of the art survey equipment, software and highly motivated small staff that ensures quality of work and services.

PS Consulting Surveyors is a close corporation owned by an Engineering Surveyor and has a Professional Land Surveyor acting as an Associate on cadastral surveying projects that requires signing of diagrams, general plans, sectional title plans and so forth.

Paul Shimbindja is registered with the Namibian Council for Professional Land Surveyors, Technical Surveyors, and Survey Technicians, in the category of Survey Technician as well as with the South African Council for Professional and Technical Surveyors as an Engineering Surveyor. He is currently in the process of registering as a Professional Engineering Surveyor. Paul obtained his Bachelor of Geomatics (honours) from the Namibia University of Science and Technology, Bachelor of Technology degree (2016) and Survey Diploma (2008) qualifications from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, SA as a well as a National Diploma in Land Management obtained from the Polytechnic of Namibia in 2004. Paul has about 9 years of Survey experience, mostly in civil engineering construction and consulting projects. Paul has previously worked for Group 5 as a Survey assistant in Namibia for a year before moving to Cape Town where he worked as a Survey technician in training for a year while studying towards a National Diploma in Surveying. He has also worked for a Consulting Company in Namibia as a Site Surveyor for two years as well as for two civil engineering construction companies as a surveyor where he was involved mainly in Road construction projects, sewerage reticulation projects as well as Topographical and Control surveys in the Northern and central parts of Namibia before going into private practice. Paul has a wealth of experience in various survey software’s such as model maker, survey maker, Surpac, AutoCAD civil 3D and Civil Designer as well as survey Equipment’s such as Nikon total station, Trimble and Leica total station and GPS, Sokkia total station and levels (including Digital levels).
